Punjab Youth Innovation & Incubation Competition 2026
The Punjab Youth Innovation & Incubation Competition 2026, under the theme “Empowering Youth, Driving Innovation & Building Futures,” is a flagship initiative of the Punjab Centre of Excellence on Countering Violent Extremism (CoE-CVE) under its Three-Year Action Plan (2025–2028) in collaboration with Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP), Pakistan, Youth Affairs and Sports Department, Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC), and other relevant stakeholders. The Competition is designed to advance the socio-economic mainstreaming of youth through innovation, skill development, entrepreneurship, and enterprise creation, contributing to the Government of Punjab’s vision of a “Rising & Shining Punjab”.
The Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) & Kinnaird Business Incubation Center (KBIC) at Kinnaird College for Women invites innovative Ideas and Projects from Kinnaird students and startups for the Punjab Youth Innovation & Incubation Competition 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- The applicant must be a currently enrolled student of Kinnaird College for Women.
- Students from all academic departments and degree programmes are eligible to apply.
- Applications may be submitted either individually or as a team (2-5 members), in accordance with the competition guidelines.
- Faculty members may serve only as mentors and shall not be considered applicants or part of team.
- Only complete applications submitted on the Registration Form within the due date shall be considered for internal evaluation.
Business Ideas must fall under one of the competition categories:
- Startup Innovation Category: Innovative business ideas, technology solutions, digital platforms, and scalable startup ventures with strong commercial potential.
- Social Enterprise Category: Innovative solutions addressing social, environmental, educational, health, community development, and public welfare challenges.
- Entrepreneurship Category: Business models and enterprises with strong potential for job creation, economic empowerment, local economic development, and market expansion.
- Agriculture & Food Security Category: Innovations in smart agriculture, agri-tech, food processing, livestock management, water conservation, supply chains, and sustainable farming practices.
- Health & Wellbeing Category: Solutions aimed at improving healthcare delivery, public health, mental health, nutrition, telemedicine, assistive technologies, and community wellbeing.
- Education & EdTech Category: Innovative educational technologies, digital learning platforms, skill development solutions, educational tools, and approaches to improve access and quality of education.
- Information Technology & Artificial Intelligence Category: Projects involving artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, cyber security, software development, automation, robotics, block chain, and emerging technologies.
- Climate Change, Environment & Renewable Energy Category: Innovations focused on environmental protection, climate resilience, waste management, circular economy solutions, renewable energy, green technologies, and sustainable resource management.
- Textile, Manufacturing & Industrial Innovation Category: Innovative products, production processes, smart manufacturing technologies, textile innovations, product design, value addition, and industrial efficiency solutions.
- Women & Youth Empowerment Category: Initiatives, enterprises, and innovations that promote gender inclusion, youth development, financial inclusion, leadership, skills development, employability, and social empowerment.
Submission Requirements
Applicants are required to download the attached Registration Form, complete all the required fields. After completing the Registration Form, applicants must submit it via email to idea.competition@kinnaird.edu.pk before the application deadline 20th July 2026.

Only complete applications received within the due date will be considered for evaluation.
Selection Process
All applications will undergo a transparent internal evaluation. Shortlisted applicants may be invited to present their ideas before an expert evaluation committee. The Top Three projects will be nominated by Kinnaird College for submission to the Punjab Centre of Excellence on Countering Violent Extremism (CoE-CVE) for the provincial competition.
